Calling all Superheroes! Captain Brave Socks is in search of strong, courageous, fun and imaginative children to fly with her to Planet Pow to defeat Doctor Stinky Socks and rescue the disco crystal.
Join us for this super-charged drama adventure, where we will use our superpowers to complete fun drama games before dancing our socks off at the superhero disco.
Emmy Siobhan is a West Norwood mum and the founder and director of Play Phonics; a company using drama, adventure and puppetry to bring phonics learning to life in schools and nurseries across London (see playphonics.netfor more info)
Dawn Parsonage is a comedian and artist who has the boogie in her blood. Her favourite superhero is her sister Jade, who can make her laugh with just a look. She loves to dance like a robot and use all of her limbs at once.
The music will be provided by the Bechdel Crew, with the finest female fronted tunes that both children and parents will enjoy
There will be water and refreshments available, Superhero costume encouraged!
All profits of the Disco will be going towards Care International.
CARE International works around the globe to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice. We put women and girls in the centre because we know that we cannot overcome poverty until all people have equal rights and opportunities.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
The event is open to children up to the age of 5 and their guardians. We will not allow any children to attend without a responsible adult.
What can I bring into the event?
There will be food available, however if your children has special allergy requirements, we would recommend bringing food into the venue.
